Capable and caring
As a parent of two children including one starting his first year in WSD in 2025-26, I understand the hopes and concerns that come with entrusting our children's education to others. I find comfort knowing Heidi Bach may soon serve on the school board. Her experience as an educator, parent, and active community member uniquely qualifies her to make decisions that will benefit all Wauwatosa students. Calm pragmatism
I'm voting for Heidi because I've seen her dedication to Tosa schools first hand through her PTA and school committee work. Heidi is, frankly, relentless in her support of public education at all levels, which is the kind of energy that we need right now. Her ability to build consensus and make sure that all voices are heard is truly impressive and a rare find in this divisive political climate. Heidi understands that her way isn't always the right way, and she listens to all perspectives before leading towards solutions that fit multiple big picture interests. I've seen her do this at the elementary and middle school levels and I'm confident that she will do this for all of Wauwatosa once elected to the board.
Heidi is empathetic, open minded, and considerate of the strong feelings that we all have about our children's education, but she doesn't ignore budgetary demands, long term effects, and the need for realistic implementation. I am excited to vote for Heidi and excited to have her on the board, helping to steer my children's educational experience and the high public education standards that help us maintain property values and a strong community here in Tosa. We need calm pragmatism right now and that's exactly what Heidi delivers.

Cares about our schools
Heidi has been an amazing champion for our school the entire time I’ve known her. She has dedicated hours upon hours to supporting our teachers and staff through her work with the PTA, and her dedication and creativity helped us pull off a successful 5th grade graduation for our kids. Moreover, she worked hard to help set a positive vision for our schools through her involvement in the Tosa 2075 Task Force. She cares about our schools and kids. She is a fabulous communicator and problem solver. Our district would be lucky to have her on the school board, working to ensure WSD is a community where educators are supported and all students are welcomed and given access to a quality education.

Tenacity & Willingness to Serve
Heidi is a fantastic listener. She’s solution oriented and does the work to build relationships and connect in the community. She’s volunteered in a teacher supportive PTA, as a parent supportive classroom liaison, and shows her skills being a teacher herself when being our go-to for all things school board and leadership related. In the nine years I’ve known Heidi’s patience and kindness, I admire her tenacity and willingness to serve.
